Hey everyone,
I'm trying to setup a new finalcut system at a small TV station. They are using DV or DVCAM and edit on FCS, capturing directly from the camera using firewire.
Is there anyway to level the audio while capturing DV using firewire? Do I need a piece of equipment? Does anyone know a solution?
It's easier for them to level it while capturing than adjusting it later. Most of the time they don't have much time. Using a capture card (with SDI or component) allows you to do that but I have never seen a solution using iLink/Firewire since it is like a filetransfer...
I'd appreciate any input.
Thanks in advance for all your help,
Andy
