  • drive for editing HD on Mac Book Pro

My next project may be HD...my first. I have a MacBook Pro and assorted FW800 drives. I also have to SATA drives and I could get a card for them for the MBP. Are either of those set-ups ok for editing videos for the web or do I need something else? Also what size per minute does HD come in as?
    Thanks,
    Jane

May be HD in what format? HDV, DVCProHD, ProRes, RED, XDCAM.

All of which bear on the which drive.

My suggestions is either the CaldigitVR Mini, or iStorage Pro PocketView.
