  • HELP !! Cinema Tools pdf list problem !!

    Hello all,

I'm editing a 35mm film, with 4 perforations, shot at 25 fps (then transfered on pal DV tapes). My Cinema Tools database is perfect, I've checked each shot one by one, comparing the numbers from the list to the actual burned ones on the clip. They're all exact.

The only thing that seems strange to me is that on the detail view of the Cinema Tools database, the "Film Std" column shows sometimes "3perf.1" or "3perf.2". But our film was shot with 35mm and 4 perforations. Is this normal ?.

    My problem is the following:

When I try to export the Cinema Tools film list for the lab (cut list, pull list...), all the keycodes are wrong (only the key prefix are ok).

Would you know a way to solve this problem ?

I only have one video track in FCP.

    Thanks for your answers.

    alexis.

    I've found the answer !

Actually, the flex files were all wrong.

In the "Film Std." column, it specified 3perf.1 or 3perf.3 for every shot, while I was sure that the movie was shot with 35 mm and 4 perforations.

I changed all of them to "35 4p" and now the exported cut list is perfect.

I hope this will help some of you.

    Bye.

    Alexis
