  • Where I can get a Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2

    Check it out.

On Amazon it takes 1-2 MONTHS for shipping. IMO that's outrageous. That may be the "norm" for you guys but I just don't get it.

Does anyone know where I can go pick one up. Like a store or something. I'm guessing not, considering I couldn't find one at Best Buy the other day. Help would be appreciated. I don't want to wait 2 whole dam months for something.

It's a new camera, announced in September, probably just barely seeing resellers at this point and on tight allocation worldwide. That's the way it always is with a new model of a popular camera line.

If you really want that camera what I'd suggest is to put in an order with a reputable Panasonic reseller. I'd probably go with B&H, get in line and wait. The larger resellers usually get more stock more quickly. They will tie up funds on the CC you use but can't actually charge you until the product ships.

          Try http://www.simplyelectronics.net/ind...cy=usd&AF=LSUS

I bought a GH2 /14-140 from them, and delivery was quick and free. But the camera is gray market, which you may not want, because you have to use the Simply Electronics warranty, instead of the US warranty. I paid a small premium, and the premium's gone up because the camera's in such short supply in the US. And I'm happy with the results. The camera is wonderful.
