    AmazeVR believes the future of media is in immersive technologies. We are an end-to-end VR service provider, a content producer, and a VR platform developer that is available on major VR stores. After securing our Series A fundraising in 2019, we’re now expanding our distribution to include an offline channel with immersive content for top music artists. Through our traveling pop-up, top artists will be able to “virtually” tour across the nation, providing artists an alternative to traditional concert touring.

    AmazeVR is currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior 3D Generalist to join our creative team in West Hollywood. We are looking for an artist able to work alongside our creative team and other leads to deliver high-quality VFX work for our clients. 3D Generalists must have in-depth knowledge and the ability to create and modify complex models and effects to an exceptional standard. They must possess a deep understanding of modeling, texture, layout, and lighting for creating top-quality VFX.

    • Create and modify both photorealistic organic and hard-surface 3D assets
    • Unwrap and modify UVs for 3D assets
    • Create and modify photorealistic textures and materials
    • Layout 3D assets and place lighting to build the final look
    • Create multi-pass rendering and deliver to the post-production team
    • Work with other leads to new technologies and improve the workflow

    • At least five (5) years of working experience in VFX or game production
    • A portfolio reel demonstrating solid modeling, texturing, layout and lighting skills
    • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Animation, Computer Graphics, Visual Effects or a related field of study

    ​Essential Skills:
    • Excellent working knowledge and experience with Maya or any equivalent software
    • Excellent working knowledge and experience with Adobe Photoshop, Substance Painter or any equivalent software
    • Excellent working knowledge and experience with Arnold or equivalent software
    • Basic knowledge in general compositing and able to communicate with the post-production team
    • A strong eye for detail, composition, color, and lighting
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
    • Able to work on multiple tasks, being flexible to manage the schedule and deadlines

    ​Desirable Skills:
    • Knowledge of practical lighting for photography
    • Knowledge of Python and MEL
    • Knowledge of Zbrush, Substance Designer or Houdini
    • Knowledge of cameras and on-set production
    • Experience working in VR
    • Experience with Unity

    • Compensation: Market competitive
    • Hours: M-F, 10am-7pm
    • Temporarily remote due to COVID-19, but will resume in office (West Hollywood) post shelter-in-place
